H. E. Mr. Samdech Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia,says "The lst China-ASEAN Expo is very successful. Premier Wen’s proposal has proved to be a wise one, which again demonstrates the strong will shared by 10 ASEAN countries and China to facilitate the reional development, and convinces Cambodia and other ASEAN new member states that they will significantly benefit from China’s development upon is accession to the WTO. "

H.E. Mr. Bounyang Vorachith, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, says "This Expo, held recently in Nanning, has achieved a complete success, of whick I have a high opnion. The success of the lst China-SAEAN Expo has constituted a positive condition under which Laos and China will further their cooperation."

H.E. Mr. Lieutenant General Soe Win, Prime Minister of the Union Myanmar, says "When we stayed in Guangxi, we are felt at home. We are deeply impressed by the hospitality of the local people and the rapid development of this region. We are also deeply touched by the harmonious relations between different ethnic minoritygroups of Guangxi, and their concerted to make a successful China-ASEAN Expo."

H.E. Mr. Pham Gia Khiem, Vice Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, says "Taking the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) as its theme, and aiming at building up a permanent platform for regional trade, investment, and economic & technological cooperation, China-ASEAN Expo has become a pragmatic move from a commonly shared concept, moving towards a market from high-level negotiations, and pursuing cooperation rather than competition. This trend is undoubtedly very beneficial to the on-going construction of the CAFTA."

H.E. Mr. Ong Keng Yong, Secretary-General of the ASEAN Secretariat, says "The Expo did attract numerous businessmen to the event. It has become a 'milestone' in the process of facilitating China-ASEAN economic & trade cooperation. The event has been wonderful and successful."

H.E. Mr. Pengiran Maghor Pengiran Ahmad, Depury Secretary-General of the ASEAN Secretariat, says "The success of the 1st China-ASEAN Expo has paved the way for the establishment of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. We believe that the next Expo will be larger in scale and arose more interests and enthusiasms of the ASEAN countries to participate in it."

H.E. Mr. Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce of the P. R. China, says "There is no doubt that such a high-ranking, large-scale and high-level exposition is among the few of its kind held in China. The Expo is indeed very successful."

H.E. Madam Mari Elka Pangestu, Minister of Trade of Indonesia, says “As a concrete form to push forward the construction of CAFTA, China-ASEAN Expo will play a positive role in promoting bilateral trade relations between Indonesia and China.”

H.E. Y.B Tan Sri Datuk Bernard Giluk Dompok, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia, says "The successful holding of the lst China-ASEAN Expo plays quite a significant role in pushing forward the development of CAFTA. Under the framework of CAFTA, Malaysia should actively exploit the large Chinese market."

H.E.MS. Anchalee Promnart, Director of the Departmant of Export Promotion of Minisry of Commerce, the Kingdom of Thailand says "Thailand is the country that takes up the biggest booth number at this expo. Through the Expo, the ASEAN businessmen found that Chinese commodities are of great competitiveness. At the same time, more Chinese enterprises are welcome to develop their trade and invest in setting up factories in the ASEAN markets. This will promote bilateral economic cooperation and bring more benefits to the people."
