Time, Venue & Scale

The 3^rd China-ASEAN Expo will be staged on October 31-November 3, 2006, and the 3^rd China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit will be held simultaneously.

Venue: The Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center, Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

Scale: An exhibition space of 80,000m² will be used for setting up 3,300 booths (3m×3m), of which 2,800 are indoor international standard booths, and 500 are outdoor ones.

Pavilions & Exhibits

Pavilions will be set up, namely, Pavilion of Commodity Trade, Pavilion of Investment Cooperation, Pavilion of Agricultural Advanced & Applicable Technology and Pavilion of Cities of Charm.

I) Pavilion of Commodity Trade
Exhibition Sections for Commodities from the 10 ASEAN Countries
This section focuses on showcasing Oil & Chemical Products, Mineral Products, Chemical Raw Materials, Electronics & Electrical Appliances, Office Supplies, Rubber & Its Products, Timber & Its Products, Palm Oil & Its Products, Handicrafts with ASEAN Flavors, Agricultural Produce & ASEAN Foodstuffs, etc.

Exhibition Section for Chinese Commodities
Machinery & Equipment: This section will focus on the showcasing of Automobile & Parts, Food Processing and Packaging Machinery, Agricultural Machinery, Engineering Machinery, Power-generating Machinery, etc.

Electronics & Electrical Appliances: This section will focus on the showcasing of Telecommunication Equipments, Internet Equipments, Computer & Supporting Facilities, Digital Products, Household Appliances, etc.

Building Materials & Household Ware: This section will focus on the showcasing of Building Materials, Decorative Materials, Sanitary Wares, Lamps & Lighting Fixtures, etc.

Agricultural Materials, Agricultural Produce & Foodstuffs: This section will focus on the showcasing of the Agricultural Materials (pesticides, agricultural-use films, seeds, fertilizers), Agricultural Produce & Green Foodstuffs, etc.

II) Pavilion of Investment Cooperation 
This section is featured by the "Go Global" of Chinese enterprises (or overseas investing of Chinese enterprises), and will focus on international project contracting, human resource cooperation, overseas processing trade, resource developing, agricultural cooperation, market analysis, project demonstration and other related financial services. This section will present investment-inviting projects of urban development and various economic & technological development zones in China and ASEAN countries, by briefing on policies and environment of investment, releasing project information and holding business talks.

III) Pavilion of Agricultural Advanced & Applicable Technology 
This section will focus on plantation & animal husbandry technologies, agricultural produce intensive processing technologies, biotechnologies, energy-saving & green technologies, new materials and new sources of energy, and will showcase advanced and applicable technologies of Chinese enterprises that cater to the ASEAN market and will hold project negotiations to promote technological transferring and cooperation between China and the 10 ASEAN countries.

IV) Pavilion of Cities of Charm
China and the 10 ASEAN countries will choose 1 city of each country that represents the unique flavor of their respective country as the "Cities of Charm" to be promoted at the CAEXPO. This section is also open to scenic spots/resorts, traveling routes and tourist services projects of other countries/regions, aiming to comprehensively showcase business opportunities of each country in the regards of tourism, culture, education, science & technology and social development, etc.

Booth & Rental

I) Booth Specification & Equipments Included
1. Each standard booth is 9m² (3m×3m), and equipped with 1 fascia board, 3 side boards (booth at the corridor corner will have 2 side boards and 2 fascia boards), 1 desk, 2 chairs, 2 spotlights, 1 500W single-phase socket, 1 waste basket and carpet.

2. Minimum gross exhibition space for rent is 36m², exclusive of supporting facilities. Exhibitors are liable for their own expenditures for special design of booths, including those for electricity, exhibition equipment leasing, booth cleaning and installation, etc.

II) Booth Rental
Standard Booth: USD1, 200/booth
Indoor Net Space: USD120/m²
Outdoor Net Space: USD60/m²

More preferences are offered to exhibitors who satisfy the following requirements:
1. A discount of 10% off the standard rental is given to the enterprises that submit application and provide company information (including company title, major exhibits, contact information, etc) before August 15. 

2. A discount of 5% off the standard rental is given to the enterprises that have participated in the previous CAEXPO and will participate in the 3^rd CAEXPO.

3. A discount of 5% off the standard rental is given to the enterprises that will use an exhibition space over 100m².

Qualified exhibitors can enjoy all the above preferences simultaneously. 

The CAEXPO Secretariat provides one I-Booth for each exhibitor at the official website of the CAEXPO.

Booth Confirmation & Rental Payment

1. Deadline for Booth Confirmation: September 15, 2006

2. Booth Confirmation
The China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, upon receiving the filled Registration Form (for Exhibitors), will deliver a written confirmation to the enterprise, and arrange booth accordingly.

3. Booth Rental Payment
Upon receiving the Booth Confirmation from the CAEXPO Secretariat, exhibitors shall remit their booth rentals to the designated accounts listed above within the set period of time. The booth confirmation is subject to due payment.
