Articles forbidden to enter or leave China
   
 

The following articles are not allowed for entry:

Any kind of weapons, emulation weapons, ammunition and explosives;

Any fake currency and fake negotiable securities;

Presswork,films, photos, records, movies, tapes, videotapes, laser discs, computer storage media and other articles that are harmful to Chinese politics, economy and ethics;

Any kind of deadly poisons;

Opium, morphine, heroin, drug, marijuana and other kef and spiritual medicines which tend to make people addicted;

Animals, plants and their products that carry dangerous germs, vermin or other nocuous organisms;

Food, medicines or other articles that may endanger domestic animals' or human's health, or come from the epidemic-stricken area, or may spread diseases.
The following articles are not allowed for exit:

All articles that are not allowed for entry;

Manuscripts, presswork, films, photos, records, movies, tapes, video tapes, laser discs, computer storage media and other articles concerning China's confidential issues;

Valuable cultural relics and other cultural relics;
Endangered or rare species and plants (including their specimens), their seeds and breeding materials.
IV. Inspection and quarantine

The Organizing Committee of the Expo fully authorizes Sinotrans Guangxi Company to process the inspection and quarantine with regards to the exhibits concerned.

Inspection may be waived towards samples exhibits, gifts and exhibits that are not for sale but for exhibition only, with the exception of animals, plants, and animal-related or plant-related products that are subject to mandatory inspection in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations.

All exhibits that are not for sale but for exhibition only, are free of charges incurred by inspection, quarantine, harm-elimination and control & supervision. For details on inspection, please contact the Sinotrans Guangxi Company.
