The Chinese Government will grant full support to Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the host province of the CAEXPO, so as to well stage this grand event, and the CAEXPO should be a long-term program with its distinctive characteristics and sound economic results.

Mr. Wen Jiabao, Premier of the State Council of China: The CAEXPO, co-sponsored by the governments of China and the 10 ASEAN countries, embodies the sincere hope to seize invaluable opportunities to press ahead bilateral cooperation, forms a platform for win-win cooperation and development, and promotes the substantial cooperation between China and ASEAN in the fields of trade, investment, tourism, etc.  We should jointly establish the CAEXPO as the stage for entrepreneurs of China and ASEAN to create and share business opportunities.  Via the CAEXPO, may we push forward reciprocal cooperation and contribute to reinforcing and developing the Strategic Partnership between China and ASEAN.

The CAEXPO fully showcases the products with cutting edges of China and the 10 ASEAN countries, which will fuel our bilateral cooperation.
◆H.E. Dr. H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of Indonesia: I’m so glad to see Indonesian enterprises and commodities to be exhibited at the CAEXPO, and I hope that business community of Indonesia may enhance economic and trading relations with China via the CAEXPO.
